Our Counsellors
Jeff Hollinsworth BA, MBACP
Counsellor & Clinical Lead
I believe that even during difficult periods of life, people often have more strength and resilience than they realise. Therapy can provide an opportunity to pause, reflect, and better understand the challenges you are facing.
I work with adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship challenges, bereavement, loss of confidence, and periods of change or uncertainty. Whether you are facing a specific issue or simply feel that something is not quite right, therapy can offer a space to explore what is happening for you.
My role is not to tell you what to do or to offer quick solutions. Instead, I work alongside you, helping you make sense of your experiences, develop greater self-understanding, and find a way forward that feels authentic and meaningful to you.
Alongside my clinical work, I serve as Clinical Lead for You Are More Therapy. I am committed to maintaining high professional standards and ensuring that the service remains ethical, accessible, and focused on providing effective support to those who seek our help.
In addition to my work with You Are More, I have experience working within both charitable and voluntary settings, supporting adults facing a range of emotional and psychological challenges. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to providing compassionate, accessible, and person-centred support.
Taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, but you do not have to face life's challenges alone. Whatever brings you here, I would be pleased to walk alongside you as you explore the next stage of your journey.
